Reviewing after my most recent experience here which was 5/30/26 which was $124 before taxes. I’ll start with the cons so we can end on a high note. Pace of play was 5 hours because of cart path only, but the fairways were completely dried out and it seemed to be fine if driven on. The real con were the conditions of the bunkers. I’ve played a lot of courses at a lot of different price ranges, but these have to be the worst or some of the worst I’ve ever seen and at one of the higher priced courses I play. We have gotten a lot of rain lately, but I played a course right down the road the night before in the rain for $35 and the bunkers were much much better which should not be the case. The pros are however are a very friendly staff, range balls included, good greens, fairways, and tee boxes, and overall a really fun but difficult layout. Once they redo the bunkers it will go back to being one of if not my favorite track in Ga, but until then I will have to give my honest review.

Pros: The course has some absolutely beautiful holes and no complains on the fairways, tee boxes of greens Cons: The bunkers are unacceptably bad conditions (and there are a lot of them) and we had a 5 hour round- waiting at every tee shot. For a 125$ tee time you expect bunkers that are playable and the ranger to speed up pace. Overall I’d recommend if you are getting out on a deal but not at full price until the bunkers are fixed.

Echelon Golf Club was awesome. The course itself is great, but honestly the scenery might be what I remember most. Every hole feels tucked into its own little stretch of landscape, and the whole place just looks expensive in the best possible way. Super peaceful, ridiculously well maintained, and the greens were beautiful. The elevation changes and winding cart paths made it feel completely different from the usual flat, repetitive courses you play all the time. At one point I realized I was enjoying the cart ride almost as much as the actual golf. Which sounds ridiculous until you play there. Some of those rides through the trees and hills feel like you accidentally drove onto a luxury hiking trail with cup holders. Greens rolled fantastic, layout was fun and challenging, and the overall atmosphere just felt top tier without being pretentious about it. Definitely one of those courses you remember afterward instead of immediately blending into the pile of “nice course” rounds. Would absolutely go back.

One of the best golf courses in the area just north of Atlanta. If you get the chance to play out here and haven’t yet then you are missing out! This course will absolutely test every single part of your game at some point in the round. But it still rewards good shots fairly with birdie opportunities on multiple holes. If you aren’t careful you can lose a ton of golf balls out here because this golf course is brutally tough from any tee box you play from, if you are playing blues or tips there is a-lot of challenging tee shots and tough par 3s. Course is always in great shape and the tee boxes are nice and leveled and have lots of good turf to hit from. Greens are solid here too, bent greens so they will be a touch slower in the summer heat but spring and fall time they run fast and pure. But they always roll true to line and seem consistent speed hole to hole. I absolutely love this course and will keep coming back, staff is always friendly and helpful too, big shoutout to all of them! You are missing out if you haven’t played here yet!

Even with it being January, the course was still in great shape. Even cut tee boxes, healthy fairways, and fantastic greens. Was especially impressed with the greens. Amazing condition, regardless of the time of year. Love that a round includes range balls too. If you're going to spend $80+ on a round, this is what you expect. I'll be back.
